19/20 Suggestions and Improvements Have a suggestion to change or improve something about boarding? Unhappy with something? Here’s what you can do about it: Suggestions Complaints • Use the suggestion boxes in the foyer and dining room. • Speak to your year group representative on the Boarding or food Council to raise it at the next meeting. • Ask for repairs or other maintenance issues to be put in the mainetnance book. • Speak to a prefect or your boarding tutor. Speak to a boarding tutor, a Housemaster or any member of duty staff. Your suggestion or grumble will be logged in the file, action taken and the outcome explained. Still unhappy? Complete a written complaint sheet (available from the duty room). A complaint is described as “an expression of discontent due to a particular cause”. Your complaint will be investigated and dealt with by the housemaster or a member of staff independent to the complaint. Have a serious complaint or unhappy with the outcome of your written complaint? You can make a formal complaint . This needs to be written as a letter or email addressed to the Head of Boarding or the Headmaster. Your formal complaint will be investigated by the Head of Boarding or a senior member of staff in school.
