Page | 19 organise many opportunities designed to focus attention on pathways to future studies and careers, including career-specific presentations, a biennial Higher Education and Careers Fair, talks from University Admissions Tutors, a visit to a Higher Education and Careers Convention, international work experience in Toulouse and the Wycombe Management Conference. 15 Co-Curricular Activities / Clubs and Societies We offer an impressive array of Clubs and Societies and co-curricular activities. These activities, together with a wide selection of educational visits in the UK and abroad, are an important part of education at RGS. We hope your son will take every advantage of these opportunities and that you will encourage him to participate. Full details of such opportunities will be issued to pupils under separate cover in the Autumn term. This information will also be posted on the School’s website. The Freshers’ F ayre in September will highlight co-curricular opportunities and the display board in the main corridor shows details of times and locations of activities. If you feel that financial circumstances make it impossible for your son to take part in an educational trip or activity, please write to the Headmaster in confidence; we may be able to assist you. 16 Daily Timetable The school day begins at 8.40am although we would ask you to ensure your son arrives no later than 8.30am.
