RGS Students Spread Holiday Kindness

To everyone who supported us, thank you and in Scrooge's own words, 'A merry Christmas!'

We wanted to share our heartfelt thanks for all that you have done to support RGS and to those causes we have supported this term in the hope it provides comfort to those who need it most.

RGS had a festive food bank this year for the One Can Trust. We were delighted with the generosity of the boys' donations; over the last two weeks, there has been a veritable march of tins, dried goods and toiletries that are now on their way to High Wycombe families.

Four beautifully decorated boxes have been under the Library Christmas tree, their artistic finery courtesy of Year 7, some of whom you see here. Inspired by their reading of A Christmas Carol, they were quick to realise Dickens' message of kindness and compassion is as relevant now as it was in 1843.

Our Carol Service was a heartfelt celebration of everyone of you, and we were delighted to raise further funds for the charity Anaphlylaxis UK with a total collection of £1600, in memory of Shiv Mistry (2015-2022).

Our Remembrance Service not only has huge significance at RGS, it also gave us the opportunity to support the Royal British Legion Poppy appeal. With your support we collected £1140.30.

Interact raised £1,145 selling the ever-popular Krispy Kreme donoughts for the charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

To everyone who supported us, thank you and, in Scrooge's own words, 'A merry Christmas!'
