      Fraser Youens Home from Home

      RGS High Wycombe is a top state selective day and boarding school and takes students from surrounding state schools at age 11, as well as preparatory and international schools. There are 70 Boarders at Fraser Youens House, 75% of whom are weekly and 25% of whom are Full Boarders. With over 400 years of experience, RGS High Wycombe combines the best of both worlds, merging the 24-hour approach of the Boarding school model into the state sector.

      RGS has altered beyond recognition since the grant of its Royal Charter in 1562, and schools necessarily evolve, almost as quickly as the boys we send through our gates.       POSTPONED - Open Evening

      Wednesday 1 July 2026 5.30 - 8.00 pm

      We have made the decision to postpone our Open Evening due to take place on Wednesday 1 July, 2026.

      I am delighted to announce that the opening will now take place on Tuesday 15 September, 2026. The timings for the event remain the same, with student led tours commencing at 5.30pm. The Headmaster, School Captain and a Year 7 student will give their presentations at 6.30pm, 7.00pm and 7.30pm. Re-booking will open on 3 September via Eventbrite.
