RGSHW Sport and Areté Performance are excited to announce our next webinar for you on Wednesday 3rd February, 6:30pm. This is a unique opportunity to find out about the selection and training processes that allow you to be part of this high performing unit.
HIGH PERFORMING TEAMS: Thinking Fast & Slow at 1000km/h with The Red Arrows
We will be exploring how the roles of leadership, team work and decision-making under pressure features heavily in their work, and how these skills are transferable into the sporting world.
We will also be looking at the processes that they employ to ensure they are able to execute such precise, complex co-ordinated manoeuvres, and how these strategies could be employed in your everyday life to cope with challenges and stresses that arise.
The evening will be hosted by Joe Byrnes and is designed to be interactive, so come prepared with any topics you may wish to discuss.
There is no charge for this event with Will providing his time for free. We have recently partnered with the TutuTygers Charity to support the children’s hospital in this area of the Western Cape and if anyone wishes to make a donation to support this charity by way of thanks for this event that would be greatly appreciated.

About Flight Lieutenant Will Cambridge
Will, 37, joined the RAF in 2006 to commence Initial Officer Training. Prior to this, Will was a member of the Oxford University Air Squadron for three years.
Following flying training on the Tutor, Tucano and Hawk, he was selected to fly the Tornado GR4. On completion of conversion to the GR4, Will was posted to IX(B) Squadron at RAF Marham. During his three-year tour he took part in a number of varied detachments, ranging from Gibraltar to Arizona.
Will finished his time on the GR4 and was posted to the Typhoon in 2014. He joined to 3(F) Squadron, RAF Coningsby, from the Operational Conversion Unit and benefitted from a busy period for the Typhoon Force. His duties included Quick Reaction Alert in the UK and the Falkland Islands, NATO air policing duties in the Baltic region and Exercises in Las Vegas and the UAE.
In 2018 Will was posted to instruct Typhoon pilots on the Typhoon Conversion Unit, 29 Squadron at RAF Coningsby. This was a role he enjoyed for 18 months before being selected for the Red Arrows in 2019.
The 2021 season will be his second year as Red 2.
